Tuesday 1:30pm-3pm & Wednesday 11:00am-3pm
We run weekly wellbeing intervention sessions for secondary school children, providing a change from being in the classroom, which can be a challenge. The garden offers a calm, safe outdoor alternative to small groups who find the school environment overwhelming. Some of the children are neurodiverse and the wellbeing interventions are very much designed around reducing anxiety and making connections with themselves and others, as well as building confidence.
A group from Farnham Heath End School are building a recycled bottle greenhouse on the acre:
“space2grow has provided our students with a wonderful opportunity to participate in a Wellbeing intervention outside of the classroom. The whole environment is extremely welcoming, nurturing and supportive of the many difficulties facing children and adults in today’s climate … the students can’t wait for Fridays to come around as they are totally committed to completing the recycling greenhouse project … we have seen a huge impact on the students currently attending.”

St Andrews primary school visit space2grow every Monday and have enjoyed exploring the change of seasons as part of their 'understanding of the world' lessons.
