Summer holiday fun for local children!
Over 250 local children and parents enjoyed free summer nature club sessions at space2grow earlier in the school holiday! Despite some rainy days much fun was had exploring the space2grow garden, finding bugs, pond dipping, crafting, creating beautiful artworks and even painting rocks.
We'd like to say a massive thank you to the Hedgehogs for funding this wonderful summer holiday club, giving so many local children and families the opportunity to get outdoors in nature.

Look what the wonderful men in sheds team have created from recycled materials. A fantastic mud kitchen which has transformed an unloved corner into a space for muddy, imaginative play for children who visit space2grow. Of course, adults can play too!

Empowering local parents one parenting course at a time!
Over the summer term we ran two courses - one for parents of young children and our very popular talking teens courses.
The 8 week Nurturing course for younger families was funded jointly by The Dempster Trust, The Rotary Club of Farnham and The Rotary Club of Farnham Weyside. We'd like to thank everyone involved in these great local organisations for their support. Here's what a parent had to say about recommending the course to other parents;
"Meeting other people like you, realising you are not alone and your child's behaviour (in general) is 'normal'. Great coping/holistic remedies to manage expectations. Reassured me we are doing a great job - that we are just normal."
We'd also like to say a big thank you to Farnham Town Council for funding our Talking Teens course through their Community Grants scheme. We really appreciate the invaluable support. Here's what a parent had to say about how the course helped them;
"It has helped me to feel more confident in my parenting. Also that it is OK to walk away rather than being confrontational, you don't have to have the last word. I now have more strategies in place for more challenging behaviour and a better understanding of how a teenager's brain develops."
