happy new year from space2grow

happy new year in nature

Happy 2023 to all our volunteers, visitors, funders and supporters. We hope you start the year with smiles on your faces, just like our December visitors from St Andrew's Infant School.

We're excited to welcome everyone back to the acre for a new year with plenty of outdoor activities planned for local schoolchildren and families, as well as our regular parenting courses and garden volunteering.

After a peaceful Christmas break, we're looking forward to seeing and hearing space2grow come to life again.

The Tuesday and Thursday men in sheds groups (a collaboration between space2grow and Farnham Maltings) are already underway. Our first gardening volunteering session of the new year is on Thursday 12 January, from 9.30am - 1pm.
We're especially looking forward to using our new greenhouse in the coming months. This fantastic, larger space will soon be filled with seedlings and plants, as well as providing some shelter for gardening and outdoor crafts on wet days.

Even at this time of year, it's great to get outside for some fresh air and exercise, so why not come along to one of our gardening sessions. No previous experience necessary, just a love of the great outdoors and a desire to help look after our wild garden. Drop us an email info@space2grow.space to find out more if you'd like to come along.

magical memories

A big thank you to Kate who has put together this lovely film of the acre over the past year.  It shows how our space changes throughout the seasons, along with many of the faces we welcomed along the way and the special days we celebrated.
We hope you enjoy this uplifting snapshot of our magical little space and the connections we can all make in nature. It's also a reminder of brighter, sunnier days to come.

If you would like to share what the acre means to you please email info@space2grow.space  - we love hearing everyone's reflections.
