We had a busy morning setting out and clearing patches for the bulbs to be planted. A lot of bulbs... 1,500! The areas selected are those that will be seen from the 'talking' shed so hopefully will be a welcoming display next Spring.

It was a lovely atmosphere with dogs, little people and lots of volunteers mucking in...(muck being appropriate as there was an awful lot of mud!).

Corin ambitiously told us that when we had planted a trug full we could refill and go again..we were lucky to plant half our true. With Isobel's expert guidance the majority are planted now and they are around the base of a tree sitting alongside the stream. We also planted a great deal near the entrance to the site. We can't wait for the display in Spring.
